With the following information, we would like to inform you about the type of data collected and the purposes for which it is collected.

1. Use of the website

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Our server automatically records log files when you visit our website. The data of the log files cannot be assigned to a specific person. They include, among other things:

  • the browser type and version,
  • the operating system used,
  • if necessary, the referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • the IP address of the requesting computer, anonymized to two bytes (about 192.168.xxx.xxx),
  • the access date and time of the server request and
  • the client's file request (file name and URL).

The data collected during your visit to our website is only collected for the purpose of statistical evaluation and optimization of the visitor experience. It will not be passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

2. Use of personal data

As far as personal data (e. g. name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is done on a voluntary basis, e. g. if you provide us with this information within the scope of an enquiry or in the context of registering for our newsletter.

You may at any time revoke your prior consent to the use of your personal data in writing or electronically. If data storage and processing is not required in connection with the processing of a transaction, we will delete your data immediately and will not process them further.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, unless the disclosure is required by law.

3. Rights of the parties concerned

Due to applicable data protection regulations, data processing operations of data subjects have certain rights vis-à-vis the responsible party (so-called rights of data subjects).

Accordingly, the persons concerned have a right under the conditions set out in the law to claim the following rights

  • on information,
  • for correction, deletion and blocking, as well as
  • on opposition ("right of objection").

If the data processing is based on a declaration of consent given by you under data protection law, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future. The legality of data processing for the past remains unaffected in case of a revocation.

If you would like to make use of your rights, please contact our contact details given in the imprint.

4. Security of your data

We would like to point out that a complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible in the context of data transmission on the Internet (e. g. communication by e-mail). Your personal data made available to us will be secured by taking all technical and organizational measures in such a way that it is inaccessible to unauthorized third parties. We recommend that you send very sensitive data or information by post, for example, as complete data security via e-mail cannot be guaranteed.

5. Cookies

On some of our pages, we use so-called "session cookies" to make it easier for you to use our websites. These are small text files that are only stored on your hard drive for the duration of your visit to our website and are deleted when you exit the browser, depending on the settings of your browser program.

Cookies do not affect your PC or the data stored on it. Cookies do not provide access to the contents of your hard disk.

If you do not wish the use of cookies to be used, you can make use of the possibility for your Internet browser to deactivate the setting of cookies and thus permanently object to the use of cookies. You can delete cookies that have already been saved at any time using the corresponding option in your Internet browser or with the help of other software programs.

We would like to point out as a precautionary measure that under certain circumstances not all functions of our website may be available if you make use of the option to deactivate the setting of cookies.

6. Matomo web analytics (former: Piwik)

The web analysis service Matomo is used on our website. Matomo is an open source software which evaluates the access of the website visitors. The analysis is made possible by means of cookies. Cookies collect information about your use of our website. These are stored on our server. Your IP address will be anonymized beforehand. However, you have the possibility to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer. To do this, you must modify the settings on your Internet browser accordingly. This may mean that you will not be able to use our website in its entirety. Please also note our general information on the use of cookies.

7. Integration of OpenStreetMap map material

On some pages we include maps from OpenStreetMap ("OSM"). OSM is a free project, which collects and structures freely usable geodata and keeps it in a database for use by anyone under free license. The integrated map material is not hosted on our servers, but provided by the OSM server via a frame. Which data is collected by OSM is therefore beyond our control. For more information on OSM's privacy policy, see wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/DE:Datenschutz:Datenschutz (german).

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy, Questions
